You’ll work closely with senior product designers, Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to turn product needs into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs. This role is a good fit for someone with strong UX/UI fundamentals, curiosity about complex workflows, and a desire to grow their product design craft. Location: This position can be located in Denver or can be fully remote though you may be expected to travel occasionally to our Denver headquarters (up to four times per year). Compensation: The hiring salary range for this position is between $80k to $90k, depending on experience. Primary Responsibilities • Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for product features and enhancements • Collaborate closely with senior product designers, product managers, and engineers to understand user needs, business goals, and technical constraints • Work with senior product designers to apply design system standards to delivery-ready designs, with opportunities to contribute new components and refine existing patterns that improve consistency and usability across SRSA’s product experiences • Use AI-assisted tools thoughtfully to explore ideas, speed up design workflow tasks, and improve design quality while applying sound UX judgment • Participate in design reviews, stakeholder conversations, usability testing, and user feedback sessions • Prepare organized design files, notes, and handoff materials so Engineering can clearly understand the intended experience • Iterate quickly based on feedback from users, stakeholders, engineers, and other designers • Generate and explore multiple concepts, staying flexible as ideas are tested, refined, combined, or discarded • Build knowledge of our products, users, workflows, and business over time Required Qualifications & Skills • 0–3 years of professional experience (including internships) in product design, UX design, UI design, interaction design, or a related field • A portfolio that shows your design process, UX/UI fundamentals, and ability to solve product problems • Working knowledge of Figma or similar design and prototyping tools • Interest in applying AI-assisted tools within the design workflow, such as exploration, prototyping, synthesis, documentation, and/or design iteration • Strong attention to detail in layout, interaction behavior, file organization, and design handoff • Ability to ask thoughtful questions, share work clearly, and explain design decisions with support and guidance • Willingness to work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and other designers • Curiosity about users, business workflows, and how software can make complex processes easier Desired Characteristics • Intellectually curious • Collaborative • Detail-oriented • Thoughtful communicator • Open to feedback • Comfortable generating and letting go of ideas Physical Requirements/Special Demands • Must be able to work standard business hours, with occasional schedule flexibility to support participant research sessions • Travel may be necessary, up to 20% of year ** We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas.
