Audit Intern Needed – Paid Internship! Location: South Jordan, Utah (In-Office)  Duration: 6 Months  Start Date: January  Schedule: Flexible hours What is OOCL?  OOCL is one of the world's largest integrated international container transportation, logistics and terminal companies. The Financial Control (FINCON) team is responsible for all accounting and tax activities of several North American business entities within multiple industries including ocean carrier agency, trucking, intermodal/rail, and real estate. We maintain and develop accounting principles, practices, and procedures in alignment with headquarters to ensure accurate and timely financial statements to external stakeholders and internal reporting to corporate management, as well as to stay in compliance with regulations.  Scope of Responsibility: The intern will assist with administrative and analytical tasks, including organizing supporting documents, preparing audit schedules, reconciling data, tracking auditor requests, and maintaining documentation. These activities are time-sensitive and require substantial effort but can be effectively performed under the supervision of the accounting team. Requirements: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, or having public accounting experiences in an audit firm * Skills in MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook * Basic understanding of accounting and taxation principles * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to multitask OOCL is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a diverse, inclusive, and equitable work environment.
