Automotive Assistant Service Advisor - Paducah

Harlan Automotive is a family-owned and operated automotive repair business with locations in Murray and Paducah, Kentucky. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and customer-focused Assistant Service Advisor to join our team at both locations. What You'll Be Doing: As an Assistant Service Advisor, you'll work alongside our Service Advisor and technicians to help keep our shop running smoothly and our customers informed. Your responsibilities will include: Greeting customers and providing a friendly, professional experience. Answering incoming phone calls and scheduling appointments. Assisting with customer check-ins and vehicle repair orders. Helping communicate vehicle inspection results and repair recommendations to customers. Keeping customers updated on the status of their vehicles. Assisting with repair estimates, parts coordination, and repair scheduling. Helping coordinate communication between Service Advisors and technicians. Maintaining accurate customer and vehicle information in our shop management system. Assisting with customer checkouts, invoices, and payments. Supporting the Service Advisor with daily operations and administrative tasks. What We're Looking For: We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Qualifications: Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working with computers and learning new software. Ability to multitask in a busy environment. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Willingness to work as part of a team. Basic automotive knowledge is helpful but not required. Previous customer service, automotive service, or office experience is a plus. Automotive experience is not required for the right candidate.
