What you'll do

Diagnose, service, repair, and inspect vehicles; document repair notes and recommendations, and advise Service Consultants of concerns.
Complete work safely and accurately, meet shop production standards, and attend factory training and obtain required certifications.

What you need

Requires an associate degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience, a valid driver’s license and strong driving record, and the ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
Must own basic automotive repair tools and obtain at least one ASE certification within 18 months of hire.

At Servco Toyota Honolulu, we provide top notch service to our customers. Our Beginner Technicians will service and repair Hawaii’s top selling vehicles, including performing a variety of bumper to bumper service/repair jobs and receive factory training. Learn more about our Auto Technician position by visiting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vetsrGvWAfA Responsibilities: Accurately diagnose, service, and repair Servco vehicles Document notes and recommendations on the repair order Inspect vehicles and advise Service Consultant of any areas of concern so customers are informed Ensure work is completed accurately and done safely Maintain and exceed minimum shop production standards Attend all required factory training and obtain all required certifications Requirements: Associate of Science Degree in Auto Technology or equivalent work experience Valid driver’s license and strong driving record Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes Must own a basic set of automotive repair tools Strong attention to detail Must be able to secure at least one ASE certification within 18 months of being hired Must be able to work a 4/10 (4 days per week, 10 hours per day) work schedule; Wednesday - Saturday from 7:00am - 6:00pm Toyota repair experience and Dealertrack experience preferred Our Technicians are paid a competitive hourly wage and production incentive. They are also compensated for their ASE certifications and receive factory training in our climate controlled Hawaii training facility.
