Job Description: Position: Billing Specialist Location: Kansas City, MO Schedule: Monday-Friday-9:00AM-5:00PM Pay: $25-$30 per hour (Negotiable based on experience) Full Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, ESOP Job Duties: - Maintain accurate records and data entry for billing purposes - pair invoices with work orders, keep track of labor hours, communicate with other employees to obtain proper information, and prepare company work orders for billing. - Maintain logs of all financial transactions, adjustments and customer data. - Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or customer complaints in professional manner. - Generate and issue accurate itemized bills, invoices and statements. - Maintaining clear written and verbal communication between departments. - Handle sensitive financial and client information securely. Qualifications: - Basic knowledge of bookkeeping related to A/R, A/P, and payroll is a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Word and Excel). - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - High School diploma required.
