Board Certified Behavior Analyst -Telehealth About us: Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary ABA clinic for children with various ability levels in the western slope of Colorado. Clifton Clinic is open for this position. Swann Clinic is a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE) and meets the highest standards of care in the nation. We are a neurodiverse and female-owned business focusing on the empowerment of our team and learners. Ours is a trauma-informed and ASSENT-based EIBI (early intensive behavioral intervention) practice. We work with children ages 1-7 in a clinic-based setting. We DO NOT engage in physical management, no safety care or QBS is required. As such, our practice cannot work with children whose aggression levels may put our other vulnerable learners at risk. Culture: Our culture is one of ethical integrity, cross-disciplinary treatment (ST, OT, Mental Health), and evidence-based interventions. We believe children flourish when practitioners use their expert knowledge in their field to collaborate and develop goals with other experts. We seek to uplift each other as clinicians, which improves our ability to help our patients thrive and continue to move forward in their journey. Schedule and Income: Swann Clinic hours are 8-4, Monday through Friday. Work after hours, on weekends, or on leave is HIGHLY discouraged. When you are off, you are off. Hence, our hourly rate (42-45/hour). We believe your degree is best used serving the children who drew you to this field. Salaried positions in this field seem to encourage burn out and cause clinicians to believe they should be working after hours. Please do not do this. Ever. Whatever position you choose. While there may be times that you are asked to stay late to address a clinical issue, we ask you take that time off your schedule later in the week. We are looking for a telehealth provider who is self-initiating, great with reinforcements and building positive relationships from a distance with our team and is very organized and communicative about schedules. Flexibility in reading treatment plans, jumping in where needed, and supporting apprentices and newer BCBAs in their application of skills is necessary. Applicants should be able to effectively and efficiently follow TAs and read treatment plans that require modification as needed. We want to develop professionals in the area who are well-trained and feel they have received the most support possible in their learning. The ability to build skills and deliver feedback concerning styles of learning and where each individual is in their coursework is paramount. Supports and Expectations: Swann Clinic has many systems in place to support our BCBAs, even telehealth. We have full TAs on telehealth, have applied for BHCOE telehealth accreditation, and have access to support within the clinic to help you access learners while working. We conduct bi-annual reviews. All job requirements and tasks are available in a TA within our systems. Each clinic has a clinical coordinator, who assists with administrative duties such as scheduling, creating materials, running compliance reports, coordinating parent training, solving technology concerns, and addressing other clinic issues. We also have clinical trainers, and directors of human resources, operations, communications, and technology. The support is endless. Therefore, the minimum requirement for full-time employees is 30 hours of direct care (97155) weekly. Finally, as a BHCOE site, we have developed several exciting programs. We complete in-house training with our team every other Wednesday for one hour to discuss clinical, ethical, diversity, and skills-based learning. We have ethics and diversity, equity, and inclusion committees that meet regularly to discuss policies, hiring practices, training, and systems-based improvements through those respective lenses. Additionally, we meet for weekly supervision, and training supervision, and attend conferences (COABA) annually. Additional supervision is provided by our regional clinical director. This is honestly an organization where you can come and effect change in the lives of well-deserving children and team members, teach, grow, and have balance in your life. Some of our employees indicated they considered leaving the field until they joined our organization. We work with integrity, professionalism, and a collectivist goal-focused mindset to uphold client dignity, affirm those around us, and provide safe and evidence-based practices with an eye on continued growth and learning. Requirements: For Credentialed Professionals - Master's Degree and credentialing as a BCBA. Clean background check. Fluent in English and Spanish is preferred but not required. Skill with iPads and technology. Advanced knowledge of Google Workplace platforms. Ability to interact well with children. Proficient writing and communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Must demonstrate flexibility and creativity as time management skills. Ability to work well independently and with others. Ability to lift to 50 pounds - when in person. Ability to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods (30 minutes or more) - when in person. Ability to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods - when in person. Professional Skills: Ability to complete ABA assessment with valid measures. Develop treatment plans based on medical necessity validated by assessment measures. Integrate multidisciplinary reports into assessments. Create functional behavioral assessment (FBA). Write behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Teach BTs and RBTs antecedent interventions, foundational skills, and data collection. Foundational knowledge of trauma-informed EIBI interventions. Run TPRAs. Advanced knowledge of data collection and EHR software systems. Basic understanding of BCBA billing codes. Willingness to train BCBA apprentices. Flexibility in communicating scheduling with learners. HIGHLY ENCOURAGED is a skill set that is supportive and reinforcing when working remotely with technicians. Building that relationship to help them implement feedback and feel confident in their skills is so important. *Great position for students who are in school for education, preschool and daycare teachers, students interested in psychology or social work, and other related fields. Provided: Exciting, varied working environment. Access to technology and resources. Flexible scheduling. Opportunities for working with other disciplines (speech and occupational therapy). Paid Sick Leave. Vision (partially covered). Dental (partially covered). Health benefits (partially covered). Life Insurance (fully covered). 401k up to 3.5% matching. $500 toward CEs.
