Brokerage Claims Coordinator

Join Our Team Cottingham & Butler is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Brokerage Claims Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll help create a positive claims experience by ensuring customer losses are reported promptly and accurately, coordinating with insurance carriers, and supporting claims activity from initial report through adjuster assignment. Responsibilities Receive and report customer losses to the appropriate insurance carriers through phone and electronic communication channels. Track newly reported claims, obtain claim numbers and adjuster assignments, communicate updates to customers, and maintain accurate records in Epic. Assign claims to Brokerage Claims Advocates based on established claim assignment criteria. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers throughout the claims reporting process. Maintain insurance carrier reporting information and create claim reporting guides for new and renewing clients. Qualifications Two years of experience in insurance, claims, or a customer service environment preferred, but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
