Building Maintenance Technician

SBM Commercial Real Estate is hiring a Building Maintenance Technician to handle general maintenance, repairs, and build-out projects at our Waukesha and Racine County locations. You will have a mix of routine tasks and varied projects, an organized work order system, and opportunities to work independently while helping the people who use our properties. Build your skills with continuing education resources and opportunities for growth. What you will do Perform general building maintenance and repairs across multiple commercial properties. Complete routine maintenance tasks and address issues identified through work orders. Support build-outs and property improvement projects as assigned. Use the work order system to track assignments, document progress, and record completed work. Communicate professionally with tenants and team members about maintenance needs and progress. Travel between properties and maintain safe, orderly work areas. What you bring Experience in building maintenance, facilities repair, construction, or a related trade. Confidence using maintenance tools and equipment safely. The ability to organize your work, meet deadlines, and follow through with attention to detail. A helpful, service-oriented approach and comfort working independently. A clean driving record and the ability to travel between our properties. The ability to perform the physical duties of building maintenance, with or without reasonable accommodation.
