Participation in the 2027 Summer Internship Program requires working in person at one of our Maine office locations. This internship requires 32–36 hours per week, with in-office attendance Monday through Thursday. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and analytical Data Analyst Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analysis, providing an opportunity to work on projects that leverage data to drive business decisions. This internship offers hands-on experience in business analysis, providing an opportunity to work on projects that drive business improvements and efficiencies. Key Responsibilities: Data Analyst: Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators. Assist in the creation of data models and visualizations. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making. Document data processes and methodologies. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. Business Analyst: Key Responsibilities: Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements. Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement. Support the development of business cases and project plans. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions. Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. Participate in meetings and workshops to facilitate discussions and gather feedback. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Housing Stipend Eligibility: Interns who do not have access to housing within 50 miles of the Freeport Headquarters may be eligible to receive a housing stipend to help relieve travel or living costs for the summer. All requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to confirm eligibility and individual circumstances. L.L.Bean uses a market-based compensation approach. The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $20 - $22 /hour. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate’s experience, qualifications, education, geographic location, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
