Business Development Apprentice Full-Time | Field Position $50,000 - $60,000 Base | Structured Path to Business Development Representative Join Our Growing Houston Team Entrusted is hiring a Business Development Apprentice to learn the art of relationship-based sales and marketing the "Entrusted Way." Based in the greater Houston area - Spring, Tomball, Pearland, Missouri City, Katy, and Cypress - you'll work alongside experienced Business Development Representatives, building the habits, confidence, and partner relationships needed to grow into a full BDR role within 1 to 2 years. This is a development seat, not a sales quota seat, built for someone who wants to learn the craft the right way before running their own book of business. Responsibilities * Support Business Development Representatives and Account Managers in maintaining and growing partner relationships * Participate in meetings, ride-alongs, networking events, and field visits to learn the business development process firsthand * Conduct consistent outreach and follow-up with referral partners and prospective accounts * Learn partner pain points, priorities, and goals to help identify valuable solutions * Support with marketing initiatives, relationship touchpoints, and account management tasks * Maintain accurate notes, follow-up activities, and partner communication within company systems * Work cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, Sales, and branch leadership to support the partner experience Qualifications * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Coachable, humble, and eager to learn * Comfortable building relationships and interacting with people in both office and field settings * Organized, disciplined, and willing to develop consistent habits * Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, sales, athletics, or another customer-facing environment preferred * Motivated by long-term growth and development rather than immediate high earnings What We Offer * $50,000 - $60,000 annual salary * 401(k), health/dental/vision, PTO, and paid holidays * Company-paid access to Dave Ramsey's SmartDollar * Gym reimbursement * Hands-on mentorship, training, and exposure to relationship-driven business development * Opportunity for long-term career growth within Entrusted Our Culture We started 20 years ago as a small carpet cleaning company in South Florida.
