About the Team/Role The Business Intelligence Analyst II serves as a technical architect and automation lead within one or more of the domain areas within the Global Risk Operations organization. You will leverage enterprise-approved tools—Tableau, Python, SQL, and RPA—to modernize legacy workflows and drive operational scale. This role is the bridge between theoretical efficiency and the deployment of hardened, audit-ready automation. You are a change agent dedicated to the continuous improvement of the department’s technical and automation capabilities. Your success will be determined by your ability to modernize the risk landscape through governed self-service. You will be evaluated on three primary pillars - operational scale, efficiency and impact, and integrity and compliance. How you'll make an impact SOLUTION ENGINEERING & AUTOMATION DELIVERY Workflow Transformation: Identify manual bottlenecks and engineer automated, self-service replacements that adhere to enterprise technical standards. Infrastructure Lead: Build and maintain the technical infrastructure required to automate complex financial risk workflows across assigned regions. Scaling through AI: Proactively integrate AI-driven technologies to eliminate manual touchpoints, creating a self-scaling environment that grows without increasing headcount. Change Agency: Serve as a departmental catalyst for technical evolution, applying strategic thinking and process re-engineering to transform manual workflows into scalable, automated solutions. ADVANCED ANALYTICS & DATA STEWARDSHIP Strategic Data Assets: Transform raw data into strategic assets, utilizing advanced analytics to provide stakeholders with predictive insights. Self-Service Ecosystems: Develop and manage standardized reporting environments (Power BI/Tableau) that empower stakeholders with real-time data while maintaining a single source of truth. Efficiency Engineering: Design and deploy technical solutions specifically intended to drive measurable cost savings and mitigate operational risks. Insight Delivery: Perform deep-dive analysis of trends to identify and illustrate emerging issues, providing management with clear direction and data-backed explanations. OPERATIONAL EXECUTION & TECHNICAL INTEGRITY Performance Tracking: Implement processes and reporting to track work items, volume, and turnaround time, ensuring accurate capture of required operational data. Reporting Administration: Oversee the lifecycle of departmental reporting, including KPIs, management dashboards, and both scheduled and ad-hoc requirements. Sustainable Automation: Deliver innovative alternatives to manual processes by continuously educating the team on current applications and automated technology. COMPLIANCE, GOVERNANCE & SOLUTION INTEGRITY Financial Controls and Compliance: Maintain rigorous standards for data integrity, ensuring all automated reports and workflows are fully compliant with regulatory and internal audit standards. Technical Integrity: Oversee report administration and version control to ensure the longevity and reliability of deployed solutions. Risk Mitigation: Ensure all self-service tools are built with robust error handling and audit trails to prevent operational drift. These statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed rather than give an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities. RPA: Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms like UiPath or Power Automate. Must have intermediate or better SQL and Oracle database experience, working with large data sets.
