Cabling Technician

SUMMARY:  Installs equipment in designated locations in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with established standards and procedures.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Installs, maintains, and repairs cabling infrastructure in a low voltage environment; maintains safety and professionalism at all times. * Completely and accurately tests cabling, ensuring it is in proper working order prior to departure from installation site. * Safely operates assigned company vehicle  * Exhibits appearance and conduct in accordance with established company standards to present a professional image to customers and the general public * Performs other related duties as assigned by management.    QUALIFICATIONS: * Ability to perform the physical labor necessary * Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm * Excellent customer service skills * Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. * Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions * Professional appearance and demeanor * Must be able to pass a criminal background check * Telephone experience preferred, but not required * Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
