(UCCA) is seeking a compassionate, organized professional to connect families with community resources, support children’s health and school readiness, and help families achieve their goals through Head Start services. Starting Rate: $19.58 per hour Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30am-4:30pm (40 hours/week) Why You’ll Love Working at UCCA Eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance through BCBSNC Company Paid Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability Insurance 401(k) (Eligibility is after one year of employment) 12 Paid Holidays Paid Annual & Sick Leave Tuition Assistance opportunities Employee Referral Program Professional development and career growth opportunities Meaningful work serving children and families in our community What You’ll Do Recruit and enroll eligible children and families into the Head Start program Develop and maintain Family Partnership Agreements with enrolled families Connect families with community resources and support services Assist families in scheduling and accessing health and developmental services Conduct home visits and provide ongoing family support Support parent engagement activities, meetings, and workshops Maintain accurate records and data entry within ChildPlus Collaborate with site staff and community partners to coordinate services Assist with program recruitment and outreach efforts Support transportation services as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field One to three years of related experience working with children, families, or community programs preferred Experience in case management, family services, community outreach, or social services preferred Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills CDL required within 90 days of employment Valid driver's license required Bilingual preferred Physical Requirements Must be able to travel within the service area, conduct home visits, attend community events, move throughout program sites, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
