What you'll do
- This role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for future sponsorship (i.e., H1B, STEM OPT extensions, TN, etc.)
- This position requires full-time onsite work (5 days per week) in Victor, NY and is not eligible for relocation assistance
What you need
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business or equivalent experience (preferred).
- 0-2 years of AR/cash application or related experience (entry-level).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced Global Business Services environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.

The Cash Application Specialist is responsible for performing day-to-day cash application activities within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) process for CooperCompanies’ North America entities, within a Global Business Services (GBS) environment. This role ensures accurate and timely posting of customer payments, resolution of unapplied cash, and compliance with company policies and SOX requirements. Reporting to the Cash Application Supervisor, the Specialist supports month-end close activities and contributes to standardization and efficiency across shared services.
