CEI Construction Inspector

STV is seeking an experienced CEI Inspector to join our CEI Team in Central Florida (Lake Mary, FL area) and be part of a growing organization! Our ideal candidate should have been directly responsible for all inspection requirements related to the construction operations assigned. Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Ability to: communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) Performing technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout Making and checking engineering computations Inspecting construction work Conducting field tests Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator and will consist of assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties Education and Experience: High School Diploma Qualifications / Certifications: Qualifications/certifications for this position may be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I CTQP Pile Driving Inspection CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures) IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I CTQP Final Estimates Level I FDOT Intermediate MOT Nuclear Radiation Safety Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
