STATUS: Full-time, 40 hours
SCHEDULE:

Job Overview
The Central Operations Coordinator helps equip and support Sandals Church campuses and ministries through volunteer team building, coordination and administration, and hands-on operational support. The work is varied and relational, bringing people and details together, and helping our campuses thrive through behind-the-scenes work.
A significant part of this role is leading the Front Office and its volunteer team, serving Hunter Park guests and walk-ins, and field calls for all of Sandals Church. Hospitality and soul care are central to this work—creating a welcoming environment, caring for anyone who calls or walks through our doors, and helping connect people to the right campus, ministry or next step.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Front Office Team
Implement our volunteer strategy at Sandals Church, the Real Team strategy.
Foster a team culture and guest experience centered on hospitality and the love of Jesus.
Equip the team to respond to a wide variety of people and situations and questions.
Confidently support guests with complex or sensitive needs.
Ensures office space is maintained, stocked and ready.
Keep important information current, and easy to access—from campus calendars, funeral info, staff contacts, and other resources the team relies on.
Coordinate Central Operations
Coordinate Coffee and Communion ordering, distribution, accounting, and related volunteer teams.
Serve as the facilitator for Sandals Church’s email: responding promptly and accurately, and responding with care when emails require confidentiality.
Support Central Campus Operations meetings by ordering meals, setup, and teardown.
Take ownership of assigned short term projects and follow them through to completion (examples: Camp projects, CCB projects, financial reporting, proof reading orders, etc.)
Campus Support
Support campus weekend services wherever ministry needs arise, which may require adjusting your home campus schedule.
Take ownership of any assigned projects and follow them through to completion, including new campus launches or large event support.
Skills & Qualifications
Lives out our vision of being real with themselves, God, and others.
Has a personal relationship with Jesus and is excited to tell others about it.
Has built a healthy volunteer team.
Brings strong coordination and follow-through—can keep people, details, and projects moving.
Demonstrates genuine hospitality and can teach others to serve and care for people well—regardless of their circumstances or where they are in life.
Is administratively gifted—comes with a strong foundation, can hit the ground running, and learns new systems quickly.
Communicates clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
Can confidently work independently when the work requires it.
Is a Sandals Church Licensed Minister or potential to be one.
Can accommodate regular physical demands, including moving deliveries and boxes of supplies.
Here’s What Matters
At the end of the day, we’re looking for someone who is part people person, part admin pro, and part “I’ll figure it out.” Someone who can move from a spreadsheet to a soul care conversation to a last-minute campus need—and keep their head.
You’re unfazed by the unexpected—including an unscheduled walk-in with a real need right when you’re in the middle of ordering 100 boxes of coffee. You don’t need a five-step process to know step one is just jumping in. Most of all, you care about people, care about the church, and make the people around you better because you’re on the team. And you can laugh.
