We continue to grow at Cornerstone Dermatology & Surgery Group in Lee's Summit, MO and we are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our stellar team. Previous dermatology experience is not required - we are eager to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Provide exceptional patient care and service Assist provider in clinic and surgery Ensure efficient patient flow Obtain patient medical history Provide patient instructions and education Follow-up with patients regarding labs, biopsy results, and post-operatively Set up and sanitize of exam rooms Answer patient phone calls Schedule procedures and appointments Clean and sterilize medical instruments Schedule Monday through Thursday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Friday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm Qualifications Current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant BLS Certification Excellent communication skills Attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills Benefits Paid time off Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits after 30 days of employment 401 (k) and 401 (k) matching offered after one year of employment Quarterly Attendance Bonus Employee Discount Please submit your resume with references for consideration.
