About the Position
Samoht Foundation, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide personalized, one-on-one overnight care for an individual in the comfort of their private home.
The ideal candidate is attentive, dependable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care while promoting the individual's dignity, safety, comfort, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, hygiene, dressing, and toileting.
Provide mobility assistance, repositioning, and safe transfers as needed.
Monitor the individual's safety, comfort, and overall well-being throughout the overnight shift.
Respond promptly and appropriately to care needs and changes in condition.
Follow the individual's established care plan and safety procedures.
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely care documentation.
Promptly report incidents, injuries, and concerns to the designated supervisor.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable care environment.
Respect the individual's privacy, dignity, and personal preferences.
Qualifications
Current California CNA certification in good standing.
Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain before beginning assigned duties.
Previous experience providing direct personal care; in-home or overnight care experience preferred.
Knowledge of safe transfers, mobility assistance, and infection prevention.
Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and remain attentive throughout the overnight shift.
Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Successful completion of required background screening and onboarding requirements.
