Waverly's CNAs play a pivotal role in the compassionate care and well-being of our residents. Our CNA's daily responsibilities include:rnrnhelping with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote hygiene and comfortrnassisting residents with walking, transferring, and positioning to prevent bedsores and help maintain mobility and independencernassisting residents at meals with eating and drinking ensuring they are following their dietary requirementsrnregularly measuring and recording vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration and promptly reporting any concerns to the nursing teamrnmaintaining accurate and timely documentation of resident's care, observations, and changes in conditionrnproviding emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting social engagement and a sense of belongingrnensuring a safe environment by keeping resident areas free from hazards and following infection control protocolsrnpositively interacting with resident families and promptly addressing any concernsrncontinuing to learn and improve knowledge and skills by staying updated with training and certificationsrnadvocating for residents to ensure their needs are communicated and addressed with the care teamrnfollowing all guidelines related to confidentiality and HIPAA rnperforming other duties to support the effective operations of the healthcare departmentrnrnOur full-time CNAs are scheduled 37.5 hours per week. Pennsylvania Certified Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
