What you'll do
- <p>As an intern, responsibilities may include some or all of the following:</p><ul><li>Assist with plan specifications and estimates as well as documenting construction activities.</li><li>Assist with AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings and update redlines with various project set drawings.</li><li>Operate electronic survey instruments such as GPS and Total Station.</li><li>Perform work in a variety of software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, etc.</li><li>Potential observation and data collection at different types of project sites.</li><li>Assist with research, development and design of projects.</li></ul><p>We strive to provide a personalized internship based on your area of interest. This may include learning how to do roadway design, geometric layout, drainage analysis, and erosion control. </p>
What you need
- <ul><li>Enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Bioproducts and Biosystem Engineering, or related Engineering program.</li><li>Completed coursework in general surveying and AutoCAD are preferred.</li><li>Able to work extended periods of time in outdoor conditions.</li><li>Above average math and communication skills.</li><li>Valid driver’s license and availability for overnight travel.</li></ul>
