What you'll do

The trainee will participate in training to learn how to investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims.
They will also communicate with customers and personnel regarding policy coverages and claim procedures.

What you need

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities are required.

Essential Functions * Participate in training and continuing education courses as requested or required; gaining knowledge, skills, and ability to perform functions of a Claims Representative. * Learn to communicate with customers and other claims personnel regarding procedures, problems, and coverages. * Investigate, evaluate, validate, negotiate, and settle all claims as assigned. * Analyze claim situations for coverage by contract. * Continually gain working knowledge of policy coverages. Additional Responsibilities * Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. * Regular and predictable attendance is required.
