- Education: Bachelors degree in science or a degree from a Medical Technology Program.License and Certification: LSBME Licensed as Clinical Lab Scientists, CLS-G or CLS-S

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist Generalist is accountable to the Administrative Director of the laboratory or a laboratory supervisor. The CLS-G will work cooperatively in conjunction with the Laboratory Director, Lab Supervisors, Pathologists and fellow employees in order to assure high quality laboratory services for all age groups from infants to geriatric.
