Our mission is to empower women to reclaim their health, strengthen their bodies, restore balance, and thrive through every stage of life. We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Licensed Mental Health Therapist who shares our passion for helping women achieve optimal mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We are especially interested in a therapist experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and trauma-informed care, with an appreciation for naturopathic and lifestyle-based wellness principles. This provider will collaborate with our women's health and wellness team to help patients address the underlying factors contributing to emotional distress, chronic stress, trauma, relationship challenges, and overall quality of life. We are looking for someone who believes mental health care should go beyond symptom management and empower women with the tools to create lasting, meaningful change. Key Responsibilities Mental Health & Therapeutic Services Provide individualized mental health assessments, treatment planning, and psychotherapy for adult women. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, mindfulness-based interventions, and other appropriate modalities. Address the emotional and psychological challenges associated with hormonal changes, perimenopause, menopause, aging, and body image. Support women in developing healthy coping strategies, improving emotional resilience, and establishing sustainable lifestyle habits. Provide a safe, compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where women feel heard, respected, and empowered. Integrative & Holistic Wellness Incorporate a whole-person perspective that recognizes the relationships between mental health, physical health, sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, and lifestyle. Explore how chronic stress, trauma, and emotional well-being may influence physical symptoms and overall health. Integrate evidence-informed mindfulness, relaxation, nervous system regulation, and stress-management techniques into individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with medical providers, nutrition professionals, hormone specialists, and other members of the wellness team to support coordinated care. Respect patient preferences for natural and complementary wellness approaches while maintaining evidence-based clinical standards and appropriate professional boundaries. Encourage sustainable self-care practices that support long-term mental and physical wellness. Women's Sexual & Relationship Health – Preferred Experience Provide therapeutic support for concerns related to sexual wellness, intimacy, libido, body confidence, and relationship satisfaction. Address the emotional and psychological aspects of sexual dysfunction, including changes associated with hormonal transitions, aging, trauma, and relationship challenges. Support women experiencing intimacy concerns, sexual anxiety, or trauma-related difficulties. Collaborate with women's health providers when medical evaluation or treatment may be beneficial. Provide compassionate, trauma-informed counseling around sexual health and personal relationships within the therapist's scope of practice and training. Patient Experience & Collaborative Care Build meaningful, trusting therapeutic relationships that encourage long-term patient engagement. Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized, patient-centered wellness plans. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation. Understanding of trauma-informed care and the relationship between psychological and physical health. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. Commitment to compassionate, individualized, evidence-based patient care. Preferred Qualifications EMDRIA-approved EMDR basic training or EMDR certification. Experience in women's mental health, particularly perimenopause, menopause, hormonal transitions, and midlife wellness. Additional education or experience in integrative mental health, lifestyle medicine, mind-body therapies, or evidence-informed complementary wellness approaches. Training or experience in sexual health counseling, sex therapy, intimacy concerns, or relationship therapy. AASECT certification or specialized sexual health training is a plus. Experience supporting patients with chronic stress, trauma, burnout, or psychosomatic concerns. Experience working within a multidisciplinary wellness, functional medicine, or integrative healthcare setting. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for more than a traditional therapist. We want someone who is passionate about helping women understand themselves, heal from past experiences, and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
