What you'll do

Make residents feel at home by treating them with patience and sensitivity
Provide resident care as directed by care plans
Ensure resident safety by identifying risks and preventing accidents and falls
Provide a bath or shower for each resident
Meet each resident's hygiene needs
Act as an advocate for residents' physical, mental, and emotional needs
Help with reasonable resident or teammate requests

What you need

CNA certified and registered in the state of Nebraska (75-hour training program)
At least 1-2 years of CNA experience
Previous bath aide experience
Fluently read, write, speak and understand English

About Us Florence Home is a well-established Long Term Care Nursing Home in Omaha's Historic Florence Community. Our work environment includes: Personal and Professional growth opportunities Regular social events Hours: 2:00pm - 10:15pm M-F, rotating weekends and holidays for Bath Aide Our Bath Aide/CNA's will: Make our residents feel at home by treating them with patience and sensitivity Provide excellent resident care as directed by care plans Ensure resident safety by identifying risks and taking steps to prevent accidents and falls Welcome new residents to their home and assist them in becoming familiar with their routine Provide a bath/shower for each resident. Must have previous bath aide experience. Meet hygiene needs of each resident. Act as a resident advocate for physical, mental, and emotional needs Go above and beyond your assigned duties to help with any reasonable resident or teammate request. We require our Care Partners to: Be CNA certified and registered in the state of Nebraska (75-hour training program) Must have at least 1-2 years of CNA experience. Be able to fluently read, write, speak and understand English Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
