- Operate and maintain multiple CNC saws for the fabrication of natural stone products.
- Write and modify CNC programs to optimize cutting processes and ensure high-quality results.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to determine machine settings and adjustments.
- Set up CNC machines by installing and aligning workpieces and cutting tools.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with company standards.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC machine operator, preferably in stone fabrication or a similar industry.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and operating various types of CNC saws.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures related to CNC operation.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or CNC-related coursework is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience operating and programming CNC machines in a production environment, preferably with stone fabrication.
