Construction Management Intern

Construction Management Internship Scot Forge Company is looking to hire a Construction Management Intern for the Summer of 2027 at the corporate facility in Spring Grove, IL. A Construction Management Internship at Scot Forge will provide a variety of experiences and exposure to the manufacturing environment, and application of engineering theory through project work. This internship will be part of an multi discipline team supporting the renovation and expansion projects of Scot Forge manufacturing facilities. Anticipated Projects include: * Assist Construction Manager with coordination and oversight of capital construction and expansion projects * Support schedule development, contractor management, and project documentation * Track project budget and invoices for financial reporting * Collaborate with Safety team to ensure contractor education and adherence on Scot Forge Safety policies * Maintain project scheduling and report out on updates to applicable Scot Forge team members Qualifications: * Pursuing a bachelor’s degree majoring in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering  * Rising Junior or higher at start of internship * Experience using AutoCAD  * Knowledge of blueprint reading * Strong communication and organization skills * Ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines Scot Forge Internship Program Offers: * Paid Compensation  * Professional Career Development and Mentoring * Company Sponsored Intern Events * Cross-Discipline Intern Project * Meaningful Project Work  * Real World Problem Solving  * Collaborative Work Environment  * Profit-Sharing Bonus Additional Requirements: * Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. * Must be able to pass a 90-day head hair drug test today. The estimated pay range for this position is the lowest and highest range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We ultimately may pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. The actual base pay offered to a candidate will depend on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, geographic location and prevailing minimum wage, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
