Corporate Staff Accountant

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Monitors and maintains cash accounts, including monthly bank reconciliations and treasury assistance. Prepares analyses, reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly invoices related to intercompany accounts. Prepare and upload recurring and miscellaneous monthly journal entries. Prepares upload of Corporate actual financials and forecasts, including supplemental data, into Consolidation system. Monitor and review monthly reconciliation and journal entry binders for completeness and accuracy. Assist internal and external auditors with requests and questions specific to the Staff Accountant’s accounts. Support the preparation of various SEC filings, including Form 10-Q/10-K. Perform other duties, assignments and special projects as assigned. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. CPA, or CPA candidate, highly preferred. Prior accounting experience via internship, public accounting, or corporate accounting role preferred. Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge required. Introductory knowledge of FASB and SEC rules and regulations. Introductory knowledge of ERP and Consolidation software. Effective oral and written communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively as well as independently. Ability to demonstrate strong business acumen, analytic, integrative, and critical thinking skills. Ability to adapt to and operate within a fast-paced environment.
