Responsibilities As a Credentialing Specialist at Key Rehab, you will: Coordinate and manage the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for therapists and behavioral health clinicians in an outpatient setting. Ensure compliance with payer, regulatory, and organizational standards Collaborate with clinical leadership, operations, and the direct billing team to support timely provider enrollment and insurance credentialing Qualifications Education: Required: •High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: •Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree Experience: Required: •One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting Preferred: •Two (2) years of credentialing experience in a healthcare setting •Previous experience credentialing therapists (PT/OT/SLP) and/or mental health clinicians (LPC/LCSW/Clinical Psycologist) •Previous experience in billing in a healthcare setting. •Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payer enrollment processes. •Understanding of outpatient therapy and/or behavioral health regulatory requirements. •Proficiency with CAQH and MS Office and Google products. •Familiarity with insurance verification, HRIS, electronic medical record software. •Ability to problem-solve and navigate payer-specific challenges. Other: • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
