What you need
- Minimum of five years’ experience conducting inspection campaigns of either subsea components or onshore equipment
- Minimum of three years hands on experience with subsea oil and gas components and their basic operations CSWIP 3.3U / 3.4U underwater inspection qualification is preferred.
- Must have knowledge and experience with traditional NDE methodologies (UT, MT, etc.) Strong knowledge of PC hardware / software networking is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English; additional languages an asset.
- Willing and available to work offshore for 3 or more weeks at a time to complete inspection campaigns.
- Must have (or be able to obtain within 14 days) offshore Health, Safety Security, Environmental and Assurance (HSSEA) requirements, such as: Offshore physical, BOSIET / HUET, TWIC, etc.
- Physically capable of lifting 50lbs or more to assist in the mobilization and demobilization of campaigns Must pass a background check and DOT drug screening.

Wood is currently searching for an experienced Underwater Inspection Controller to work onshore and offshore on contract, supporting a variety of projects. We expect the contract to last 24 months. Due to the nature of the role, we are only considering certified inspection personnel at this time.
