- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field
- Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028
- Completion of at least two upper-level (300/400) courses relevant to the internship discipline
- Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to support or sponsor any U.S. immigration benefit (such as, but not limited to, H-1B, TN, STEM OPT) at this time.
- Prior internship, co-op, research, or independent project experience, along with the ability to clearly explain their individual contributions, decisions, and lessons learned
- Coursework or projects involving cybersecurity, risk management, governance, compliance, security operations, networking, or information systems
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, vulnerability management concepts, or security monitoring tools
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, military service, community involvement, or campus initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

The Cybersecurity & Risk Internship is an 11-week, hands-on experience where interns contribute to real-world cybersecurity projects that help protect ADT’s technology, systems, and data. Interns may gain experience across areas such as application security, vulnerability and threat exposure management, cybersecurity risk, security automation and AI, and security data and reporting. Along the way, they’ll build technical and professional skills while working with teams across ADT to analyze security challenges, test solutions, and help strengthen ADT’s overall security posture.
