At Amazon, we strive to be Earth's most customer-centric company where people
can find and discover anything they want to buy online. We hire the world's
brightest minds, offering them an environment in which they can relentlessly
improve the customer experience. Innovation and creativity are built into the
DNA of the company and are encouraged at all levels of employment. Every day we
solve complex technical and business problems with ingenuity and simplicity.
We're making history and the good news is we've only just begun.
Amazon's IT Logistics and Imaging Team (ITS-LIT) operates a warehouse-scale
production floor that images, provisions, and manages the lifecycle of every
corporate laptop and device deployed to Amazonians across the United States. Our
team at SEA124 (Ouroboros) in Renton, WA processes thousands of devices weekly —
supporting new hire onboarding, device refreshes, inventory management, reverse
logistics, and data destruction.
We are seeking a Data Center Materials Associate to join our warehouse
operations team. In this role, you will support daily inventory and logistics
work — receiving and inducting IT assets, picking, packing, shipping, and
processing returns. You'll follow standard procedures, work through assigned
tasks as priorities shift during the day, and focus on accuracy and quality in
every transaction. You'll also help keep IT areas clean, organized, and
audit-ready.
This is a hands-on warehouse environment where your work directly supports
Amazon's ability to deliver devices to employees on Day 1.
Our team approaches work as seeing no job as too small and no challenge as too
big!
Key job responsibilities
- Support daily inventory operations, including receiving, induct, storage,
picking, packing, and shipping of IT assets and peripherals
- Complete assigned tasks across queues and programs, following daily priorities
set by the team
- Restock IT inventory locations, vending machines, and supply stores, and
report low stock to your lead
- Process returned IT assets following compute reuse, reverse logistics, and
disposal procedures
- Prepare IT assets for transportation in line with IT and InfoSec policies,
including safe handling and destruction of IT media
- Assist with removal and recovery of IT assets from campus locations as
required
- Prepare new hire equipment kits and support campus IT staff during new hire
orientation
- Follow standard operating procedures and flag issues or errors to your lead
- Complete assigned work within SLA and record progress in ServiceNow
- Work with teams across the warehouse (IT Support, Returns, Stock Cart,
Imaging) to keep orders moving
A day in the life
You arrive at our warehouse in Renton, WA and check the day's work: inbound
shipments to receive, outbound orders to pick and pack, and returns to process.
Your lead sets the day's priorities, and you move between tasks as they shift.
Some days you're building new hire kits for Monday onboarding. Other days you're
processing returned assets, restocking vending machines across campus, or
helping with a bulk removal from a decommissioned floor. You follow standard
procedures, flag issues to your lead, update ServiceNow, and make sure every
asset is accounted for. Your accuracy helps make sure every Amazonian has the
equipment they need on Day 1.

build their own tools, write their own procedures, and own their programs
end-to-end. Our culture is hands-on, direct, and team-first. We value people who
take ownership, communicate clearly, and look for ways to improve how things
work. Every day brings something different. Basic Qualifications: - High school
