Come join us at People Creating Success! Share your knowledge and encourage healthy habits as a Day Program Instructor.  Sign-On Bonus! Review details in benefits section!  EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION * Location: Newbury Park, CA * Full & Part-Time: $20.60 / hour * Mileage reimbursement * $10/month cell phone stipend * Weekdays 7Am - 4PM BENEFITS * Health care benefits and PTO available if you transition to full time employment * Discounts on Pet Insurance  * Cal-Savers retirement plan * $1000 Sign on bonus, installed in two increments $500 upon first shift after training completion, $500 upon 90 days of employment. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES  * Lead and support participants in health and wellness activities such as:  * Exercise classes with certified trainers * Yoga sessions with certified instructors * Cooking Classes focused on nutrition * Health education and healthy eating habits * Participate in community outings using company vans or public transportation * Collaborate with participants on a personalized curriculum tailored to each participants’ goal - mindful of academics, socialization, and more * Assist with personal care such as changing and toileting * Record keep progress of care plan WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset * Someone who is encouraging, able to guide, and support participants in a respectful manner * A valid driver’s license  * CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if you’re not certified or need to be recertified)  CANDIDATE EXPECTATIONS OF DEVELOPMENT  * Behavior Support & De-escalation: Support individuals through heightened emotional responses, complex behaviors, and sensory overload using proactive redirection and calming techniques. * Emotional Regulation: Recognize early signs of stress or escalation and guide individuals through personalized self-regulation strategies. * Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed shift logs and progress notes.
