Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Valuation Management Level Associate Job Description & Summary The Opportunity As a Deals - Deal Valuation - Experienced Associate you will support valuation analyses for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, and other financial transactions, helping clients evaluate value and potential deal risks. As an Associate you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and project work, building your skills through research, analysis, and direct support of senior team members while adapting to changing client needs and a fast-paced environment. In this role at PwC, you will work within our Deals practice in deal valuation, gather information from multiple sources, interpret data to identify patterns, and contribute to deliverables that help inform transaction decisions and client strategy. Responsibilities - Analyzing financial statements, transaction data, and market information to support valuation analyses for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring assignments - Building and updating financial models, comparable company analyses, and discounted cash flow analyses using valuation methods and modeling tools - Gathering information from client materials, public filings, and internal resources to support deal value assessments and risk considerations - Preparing valuation support materials, presentation decks, and written summaries that translate technical findings into clear insights - Applying quantitative finance, corporate finance, and market trend knowledge to assess deal structures and business value drivers - Reviewing assumptions, inputs, and calculations for consistency across financial models and valuation deliverables - Supporting client service teams by tracking project tasks, coordinating deliverables, and responding to changing transaction timelines - Developing commercial awareness and technical skills through feedback, research, and participation in deal valuation workstreams What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 1 years of experience What Sets You Apart - Applying a learning mindset and ownership for development - Appreciating diverse perspectives, needs, and feelings of others - Adopting habits that sustain performance and personal growth - Actively listening, asking questions, and expressing ideas clearly - Gathering information from multiple sources and analyzing patterns - Building commercial awareness in valuation and deal settings - Learning professional standards and upholding independence requirements Travel Requirements Up to 60% Job Posting End Date The salary range for this position is: $63,000 - $140,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
