Come Grow With Our Team!Volunteer Orthodontics is looking for a friendly, experienced, and motivated Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team in Nashville, TN!
We're looking for someone who loves working with patients, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in helping create beautiful smiles. If you have orthodontic experience, a positive attitude, and enjoy being part of a supportive team, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll DoAssist the orthodontist with daily procedures and patient care.
Perform orthodontic assisting duties, including changing wires, placing and removing ligatures, and preparing patients for adjustments, as permitted by Tennessee regulations.
Take impressions, scans, photographs, and X-rays as qualified and authorized.
Educate patients on orthodontic treatment, appliances, and oral hygiene.
Prepare treatment areas and maintain proper sterilization and infection control.
Keep accurate patient records and assist with efficient patient flow.
Work closely with the team to create a positive and comfortable patient experience.
What We're Looking ForPrevious orthodontic assisting experience required.
Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and appliances.
Tennessee dental assisting qualifications and applicable certifications for assigned duties.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
A friendly, dependable, and team-oriented personality.
Someone who takes initiative, enjoys staying busy, and is eager to continue learning.
