Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill an opportunity at NDX Green Lab in Heber Springs, AR for a Full-Time Dental Lab Technician (Denture Setup). The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time. Do you love working with your hands? If you thrive in a team environment, if you’re passionate about helping people, if you’re skilled with your hands, and if you’re committed to learning – we want to hear from you… Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position: Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist Check models for defect that need correcting before fabrication begins Check articulation of models for proper occlusal relationship Post dam upper models Set pin on articulator to establish vertical relationship Double check teeth to be used for correct mold and shade Place wax on baseplate and set teeth on the arch in proper alignment to achieve proper function and good aesthetics. If setting for wax try-in, soak model in water before set-up. Check occlusion to be sure correct bite relationship has been achieved All other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Required: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity Detail oriented Minimum Education and Experience Required: Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent Must be able to sustain production Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used: Small machinery Hand-pieces Chemicals Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time
