Girls on the Run Minnesota is a non-profit 501(c)(3) community-based organization. This spring, our 1,000+ volunteer coaches will mentor more than 3,500 young girls (3rd through 8th graders) with an 8-week, 16-lesson curriculum that is research based and combines training for a 5K with social and emotional life skill building. We integrate running with specific life skills training such as healthy decision-making, setting boundaries, empathy, contributing to the community, leadership and teamwork in schools and communities throughout Minnesota. Our fall 2026 internships provide an opportunity to make a difference and receive valuable experience with an outstanding youth empowerment program.
