Digital Services Information Security Internship Summer 2027

This is a full time (40 hours/week), 14-week hybrid summer internship that will occur during one of the below time frames: May 3 - August 13, 2027 May 10 - August 20, 2027 Open to hiring candidates that reside anywhere near our three primary regions: West (Grand Rapids) East (Southfield) South (St. Joseph) In your Workday application, please include the name of your current university, degree, and expected graduation date (or completion date, if applicable). Job Summary Performs support tasks for department, as directed, and maintains clear and appropriate documentation. Acts as a team member and assists the team in improving processes. Essential Functions Monitoring and reviewing security alerts Researching emerging cyber threats, assisting with incident investigations Documenting procedures and findings, analyzing trends and reports Helping test security processes Participating in team meetings and training sessions Creating dashboards and metrics Supporting automation and process improvement efforts Collaborating with teams across the organization on security-related initiatives Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent Currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in area of accountability. May also be a recent graduate from an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program.
