Dispatch Coordinator D-Trans LLC · Venice, FL · Full-Time, On-Site Know freight? We'll make you great at it. For nearly 20 years, D-Trans has moved freight that can't afford to be late: pharmaceuticals, aerospace components, and other critical commodities, for customers who count on reliability, precision, and safety. We're looking for a Dispatch Coordinator who already understands how loads move and wants to become a top-tier dispatcher. You bring the fundamentals. We'll bring hands-on training, a senior team that has your back, and a clear path to more responsibility and higher earnings. This role is 100% in-office at our Venice, FL headquarters. Our dispatch floor runs fast and works as one team, and that only happens when everyone is in the room. What You'll Do: Coordinate pickups and deliveries for loads moving nationwide. Track freight in real time and solve problems before they become delays. Keep drivers, customers, and brokers informed with clear, timely communication. Manage BOLs, PODs, and rate confirmations in our TMS. Find and secure freight on DAT, Truckstop, and direct customer boards. Negotiate rates that keep loads moving and margins healthy. Plan legal, HOS-compliant routes. Share rotating evening, weekend, and on-call coverage with the team. What You Need on Day One: 1+ year in transportation, logistics, or dispatch. Solid understanding of freight basics: carriers, brokers, pickups, and deliveries. Ability to read and interpret BOLs and rate confirmations. Working knowledge of DOT and Hours-of-Service (HOS) regulations. Strong computer skills and clear, professional communication. What We'll Teach You: Advanced load board strategy and lane optimization. Full TMS and Samsara telematics operations. Proven negotiation frameworks. Route planning and HOS efficiency techniques. The playbook our senior dispatchers use every day. Bilingual? Earn More. Candidates fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, or Spanish receive a higher starting rate. These languages are used daily across our driver and broker network. You'll Thrive Here If You Are: A fast learner who puts feedback to work immediately. Organized and dependable , even when the board is lighting up. Calm under pressure , steady when a load goes sideways. A team player , with no ego and no drama. Ambitious , hungry to grow your role and your income. What We Offer: Hands-on training from senior dispatchers who've been doing this for years. Higher starting pay for Russian, Ukrainian, or Spanish speakers. A clear growth path into more responsibility and greater earning potential. A stable company with nearly 20 years in high-value freight. A team that works together on a fast-paced, supportive dispatch floor. [Health, dental, vision]. [Paid time off].
