With locations in Pasadena, TX, Reserve, Louisiana and Chicago, Illinois.     Summary:  The dispatcher will handle incoming and outgoing communication with customers, drivers and internal departments.  The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.  The ability to respond to customer complaints and handle conflict in a professional and effective manner is essential.  The candidate will ideally have experience with rail, steamship, port or freight forwarder companies and understands bookings & swings.   Duties include (but not limited to):  * Dispatch and plan drivers for local intermodal / drayage operation. * Ensure all customer requests are processed and received, including orders and pickup requests. * Trace containers on rail websites to verify container locations, LFD, storage and rail billing. * Build strong relationships with drivers and customers. * Track and trace shipments for on-time performance and communicate status to the customer. * Maintain a customer service attitude and provide excellent service. * Enter and update data in company dispatch software for accuracy. * Work and collaborate with other company departments.   Job Requirements Include:  * At least 1 year of current dispatching experience * High School Diploma/GED required * Experience with “live dispatch functions” * TMW or Mcleod experience desired * E-log, automated workflow and form messaging experience highly desired * Tanker or ISO Experience * Knowledge and understanding of DOT, HOS & FMCSA standards     We Offer a competitive benefit program:   * Weekly Pay * Medical Insurance - Two Plan Options * Vitality Medical Insurance discount program * Dental Plan & Vision Benefits * Paid Time Off (PTO) * 8 Paid Holidays + 1 Floater Holiday * Traditional 401(k) with up to 3.5% match, & a ROTH 401(k) option * After 1 year of service * Short Term/Long Term disability core benefits + buy up options * $25,000 Life insurance core benefit + buy up options * Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance (AD&D) * Critical Illness and Accident Insurance * Flexible Spending Account (FSA) & Dependent Care FSA * After 1 year of service * Tuition Reimbursement program   **You may apply directly through our website: www.cbsltrans.com and by sending us your resume at recruiting@cbsltrans.com**       Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.
