Title: Dispatcher Pay Rate Range: $20-$25 per hour Location: 16-70 Weirfield St. Ridgewood, New York 11385 Employment Type: Full-Time Availability: Must have open availability including nights and weekends Shifts Available: Day shift or Overnight shift available. Responsibilities: Call Management: Handle high-volume intake calls, prioritize, and dispatch using CAD systems Resource Coordination: Determine the appropriate level of care and coordinate transport activities with field EMTs Customer Service : Provide courteous, friendly service to medical facilities, the public, and fellow EMS staff Trip Assignment: Assign trips to the appropriate resources based on needs and availability Billing Support: Collect patient billing information and assist with pre-billing activities. Other tasks as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma / GED Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting Preferred Qualifications: 1-2 years of transportation dispatch experience (EMS dispatch preferred) Emergency Medical Technician - EMT experience Strong geographical knowledge of service areas Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations Proficiency in typing (40-45 WPM) and data entry experience Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software EEO/AAP Statement: DocGo is an equal opportunity employer.
