Dispatcher/Systems Operator

As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for collecting pertinent information regarding outages; coordinates with service personnel to resolve outage situations; provides work direction in troubleshooting and restoring electrical service, under direction of the System Operations Supervisor What You Bring to the Table: Ideal applicants for this position should have strong phone, computer, and organizational skills, be able to multitask and troubleshoot quickly and efficiently, and be quick learners. You will be expected to manage incoming calls and determine the difference between outages and service orders and assign crews to these outages based on priority. In addition, our dispatchers prepare tickets, keep track of crews and equipment, and prepare reports on consumer updates, on-call lists, and others. This position operates on a rotating schedule of seven days then seven nights, as our dispatch is available 24/7. We are requiring a High School Diploma or equivalent.
