Job Summary: We are currently seeking an energetic & outgoing DSP who is compassionate and would provide exceptional care and ensure the safety and well-being of 3 outgoing young men in their home and community. This position requires a dedicated individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the life of these young men and also, be a positive influence getting them out in the community and doing fun activites! Duties: - Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming- Administer medication and monitor vital signs under the supervision of a nurse- Implement individualized care plans and ensure resident rights are respected- Assist with meal preparation and feeding- Maintain a clean and safe living environment- Provide companionship and engage individuals in recreational activities Minimum Qualifications: A positive attitude and willingness to learn Compassion and a desire to help others 18 years of age or older Ability to pass a background check Valid US driver's license Basic computer skills Ability to read, write, and speak the English language Qualifications: - Previous experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred. - Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care approach. - Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy. - 2-3 years of DSP experience required - Please note that this position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Pay: Pay Frequency: Biweekly Schedule: Part Time PMs Monday 3pm-6pm Tuesday 3pm-6pm Wednesday 3pm-6pm Thursday 3pm-6pm Friday 3pm-6pm Rate: $20/hour Work Location: In person If you are compassionate, dedicated, and have a passion for helping others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position!
