eCommerce Merchandising Intern (2027 Semester 1) - Generation H

The Team: The eCommerce team oversees all content and aspects of the Hermes.com business while supporting omnichannel services in partnership with US boutiques and deploys digital initiatives, onsite campaigns and eCommerce emailings. The Opportunity: As the eCommerce Merchandising Intern, you will perform job functions related to maintenance of the integrity of the eCommerce catalogue. You will also support with site auditing, competitive analysis, and business development initiatives. The duration of the Generation H program is five months. Please note in order to qualify for the program, you must be able to work during this five-month period. This internship is scheduled for January 11, 2027 – June 28, 2027 and this is a full-time opportunity. All internships are in-person (non-remote) and this internship is based in the Corporate Office located in New York City. Interns are paid an hourly rate of US $20.00. A Full-Time Internship will be scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, and Part-Time will be scheduled for more than 15 hours but less than 35 hours per week. About the Role: Perform quality assurance for the site daily, which includes searching for issues such as bugs, broken images, harmonized thumbnails, load speed, etc. Assist with reporting accordingly and following through to resolution. Support with completing regular catalogue audits for updates on sizing, product information, and descriptions. Complete audits on stock online daily. Compile competitive analysis and focus on internal search, cross-selling, and left menu optimizations. Review and optimize left menu navigations and groupings to increase sales and stock rotations. Provide maintenance of omni-channel catalogue including but not limited to the addition/removal of references routinely and compilation of monthly analysis and reporting. Assist with creating product selections for merchandising pushes according to the monthly editorial calendar. Monitor presentation of product selections daily and update products on as as-needed basis. Compile monthly business analysis and reporting. Create and present competitive analysis. Support the customer service team with catalogue and image-related issues.
