What you'll do
- Perform Environmental, Health and Safety activities across multiple disciplines
- Plan, implement and maintain company environmental, health and safety programs
- Perform required testing programs and maintain documentation
- Coordinate and conduct health and safety training for employees
- Conduct compliance assessments and audits of facilities and operations
- Perform root cause analysis and draft corrective action plans
- Assist in evaluating current policies, procedures, and documentation
- Monitor chemicals, storage facilities and personal protective equipment
What you need
- 3-5 years related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 1-3 years with a Master's degree
- Comparable combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of accident/incident prevention and environmental protection tools and programs
- Skill in utilizing different communication materials for varied customer requirements
- Knowledge of relevant government agencies’ laws, regulations and standards
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action of non-conformance
- Knowledge of OSHA record-keeping and Workers' Compensation administration requirements

Insitu’s world-class manufacturing facilities are located in Bingen, WA and deliver the highest quality products on time. We have a 12 month contract need for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to working onsite in Bingen, WA.
What you’ll do:
Perform Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities across multiple disciplines.
Plans, implements and maintains a variety of company environmental, health and safety programs.
Performs required testing programs and maintains documentation.
Coordinates and conducts health and safety training/education for employees.
Conducts compliance assessments and audits of facilities and operations, communicates results and maintains metrics.
Performs root cause analysis and drafts corrective action plans.
Assists in the evaluation of current policies, procedures, and documentation.
Monitors chemicals, storage facilities and personal protective equipment.
Education & Experience:
3-5 years related experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 1-3 years related experience with a Master's degree or comparable combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of accident/incident prevention and environmental protection tools, program elements and tactics.
Skill in utilizing different communication materials to satisfy a variety of customer requirements and environments
Knowledge of relevant government agencies’ laws, regulations and standards as well as current issues impacting functional responsibilities of the job family.
Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action of non-conformance to investigate incidents. For the purpose of leveraging training throughout the organization so as not to repeat incidents.
Knowledge of OSHA record-keeping and Workers' Compensation administration requirements as applicable to each state.
In-Office Requirement Statement:
This role requires hands-on work on our products/collaboration with on-site teams, and will need to work onsite full-time in Bingen, WA.
