Electrician Apprentice -Spectra

ABOUT THE ROLE STRATA Networks is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Electrician Apprentice to assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This position provides hands-on experience working alongside journeyman and master electricians while supporting reliable electrical operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining safety and quality standards. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you’ll: * Assist journeyman and master electricians with electrical installation, maintenance, and repair projects. * Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using appropriate tools and equipment. * Perform general labor duties, including digging trenches and holes for conduit and electrical supports. * Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites. * Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and applicable electrical codes. * Document completed work and communicate project updates as needed. * Provide on-call support to clients and assist with troubleshooting electrical issues. * Follow industry safety standards and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). * Perform other duties as assigned. ---------------------------------------- WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM To be successful, you’ll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent. * An Electrical Trainee Certification. * Basic knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices. * Ability to understand electrical schematics and technical manuals. * Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. * A valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in on-call rotations. ---------------------------------------- WORK ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS * Regular schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. * Participation in 24/7 on-call rotations as scheduled. * Work at client locations and potentially hazardous job sites. * Work around electrical systems, construction equipment, and other occupational hazards. * Use appropriate PPE and follow all required safety procedures. * Work at heights and in various indoor and outdoor environments. ---------------------------------------- PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Ability to perform strenuous physical activities, including lifting objects weighing over 100 pounds. * Ability to climb and work at elevations using ladders, poles, climbing gaffs, and lift trucks. * Ability to dig, bend, stand, and perform manual labor for extended periods. * Ability to safely handle tools, materials, and electrical equipment. ---------------------------------------- WHY STRATA NETWORKS?
