Job Summary: As an Entry-level Engineer, you will have the exciting opportunity to kick-start your engineering career by contributing to real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience, and collaborating with a team of skilled professionals. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: * Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and products using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer). * Support the development of schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design requirements are met. Testing and Analysis: * Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis to ensure design integrity and compliance with specifications. * Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes and final products. * Help troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during the design and testing phases. Documentation and Reporting: * Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports. * Assist in the creation of technical presentations and project status updates. Project Support: * Work with senior engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines and milestones. * Participate in the selection and evaluation of electrical components and systems. * Provide support during the manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure product quality and performance. Qualifications and Experience * Education: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. * Skills: * Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer). * Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, signal processing, and power distribution. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. * Experience: * Internship or co-op experience in an electrical engineering role is a plus but not required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., IEEE, NEC). * Basic knowledge of embedded systems or control systems. Location: San Jose, CA Travel: Limited Travel up to 10% The expected base salary range for this role is $75,000 – $85,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
