JOB DETAILS: Location: San Jose, CA, USA Onsite: This role requires the student to work full time (40 hours a week), mostly onsite work structure throughout the duration of the co-op/intern term. Summer Internship: Semester Schools: May 24, 2027 - August 13, 2027 Quarter Schools: June 21, 2027 – September 10, 2027 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: DFE Technology team develops high performance and low-cost digital front end (DFE) Radio designs for 5G/6G terrestrial and NTN applications with AMD’s unique RFSoC and Versal products and influences future device architectures. As a DSP Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced team members on: Tx/Rx RF modeling in MATLAB for RF Amplifier non-linear responses using adaptive algorithms (LS, LMS, RLS, Gradient Descent etc) along with advanced ML algorithms Explore various advanced adaptive approaches for closed loop linearity improvements. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Completed Electromagnetic Theory, Matrix Theory, Digital Signal Processing and Digital Communications coursework Completed coursework in machine learning and various neural networks Background in non-linear system analysis Background in RNN, LSTM and other advanced long memory network Background in Wireless Communications MS Candidate – Wired/Wireless Communications background Note: By submitting your application, you are indicating your interest in AMD intern positions.
