Legal Assistant Job Description The Entry-Level Legal Assistant role provides our new hires with the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in our bankruptcy practice area, as well as demonstrate their ability to meet performance standards. As employees progress in experience, education, and performance consistency, paralegal and management growth opportunities become available. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, have excellent service orientation and communication skills, and pay strong attention to detail. This is an in-office role located at our headquarter location in Boca Raton, Florida. Responsibilities *Work within the firm's Bankruptcy Department under the general supervision of the Paralegal Supervisor and department attorneys File Proof of Claims throughout multiple jurisdictions nationwide Prepare certificate of service and additional documents as needed Communicate with team, supervisors, and clients through phone and email Must be a team player willing to assist throughout the department Willing to take on new tasks, adapt to new challenges, and engage in ongoing training Qualifications Prior experience working in a law firm or legal environment.
