Description
Riggs Cat Power & Energy is hiring EPG Commissioning Technicians to start up standby, emergency, and data center generator systems. You'll bring new installations online, run acceptance and load-bank witness testing, and troubleshoot controls, paralleling, and switchgear before handover. An electrical or controls background is required, and we invest heavily in your certification.
This is our most certification-intensive field track. It's built on the full Cat Electric Power progression plus startup-specific controls training, and skills are validated through formal Cat skills assessments, not just course completion. During startup, you'll often be the technical point of contact on the client's site.
