Position Summary: The Equipment Installation Technician supports equipment installation, maintenance, repair, and construction projects across Forsman Farms, focused primarily at farm locations. This hands-on position works with a variety of farm and industrial equipment systems, helping install new equipment, modify existing systems, complete facility improvements and keep operations safe, efficient, effective, and reliable. Responsibilities:
Travel between farm sites to complete equipment installation, repair, maintenance, and construction projects.
Install, replace, and maintain farm equipment including egg collectors, manure dryers, belts, scrapers, aviaries, bins, conveyors, ventilation and related systems
Assist with mechanical installation, equipment setup, and facility improvements
Perform construction, fabrication, and repair work as needed
Use hand and power tools and equipment safely and effectively
Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks skid loaders, boom lifts, and telehandlers safely and effectively
Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) and fall protection procedures
Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and equipment issues
Follow biosecurity, PPE, and safety requirements at all locations
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Ability to follow instructions and complete work accurately
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Ability to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack safely and effectively
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
Basic experience with power tools; mechanical aptitude preferred
Reliable transportation for frequent travel between sites
Willing to work overtime when needed
Self-motivated with initiative to stay productive
$22.50 - $28.00 per hour

Realizar trabajos de construcción, fabricación y reparación según sea necesario.
Utilizar herramientas manuales y eléctricas de manera segura y efectiva.
Operar equipos como montacargas, gatos hidráulicos para tarimas (pallet jacks), minicargadores (skid loaders), plataformas elevadoras (boom lifts) y manipuladores telescópicos (telehandlers) de forma segura y eficiente.
Seguir los procedimientos de bloqueo y etiquetado de seguridad (LOTO) y protección contra caídas.
Ayudar a diagnosticar y solucionar problemas mecánicos y de equipos.
Cumplir con los requisitos de bioseguridad, equipo de protección personal (PPE) y normas de seguridad en todas las ubicaciones.
